User Guide (Quick Instructions)
Wind slider: adjust the breeze.
Mouse tracking: sunflower follows the cursor like the sun.
Gentle moves + soft wind : flower blooms brighter.
Save PNG: export the current scene.
Fast moves / strong wind : flower fades, colors turn gray.
Season menu: switch between Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter.
Color buttons: change petal colors (Blue, Red, Yellow, Random).
Goal
Create an interactive artwork that communicates “Care = Flourish” through visual and sensory experience
Tools
p5.js (JavaScript creative coding library), HTML/CSS for embedding.
Timeline
~2 weeks (ideation → coding → testing → refinement).
Process
- Initial design of the sunflower with wind and mouse tracking.
- Adding details like pollen particles and parallax clouds.
- Implementing the “ecosystem health” mechanic that links user behavior to the flower’s vitality.
- User testing and fine-tuning animations, colors, and timing.
